Job Description

General Overview of Position

The position of Co Area Manager is a full time position requiring 50+ hours per week and reports directly to an Area Manager. This position is responsible to assist with the overall operations within a specific area containing multiple customers and stores.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assist with employee management to include coaching, counseling, performance reviews and employee development.
  • Maintain required staffing levels for all positions within the area of responsibility.
  • Conducted weekly store walks to ensure adequate assembly volume and build quality.
  • Uphold the integrity of existing store schedules and coordination of all work.
  • Review and confirm various reports as required.
  • Communicate with customers, employees, sub contractors, company management, and National
  • Field Support Center.
  • Identify and prevent invoice fraud and company theft.
  • Oversee Area Trainers to ensure all new hires are thoroughly trained per company training program.
  • Provide safety training, follow up, and accountability.
  • Maintain and account for all company assets located within the area.
  • Drive sales through customer service and communication.
  • Identify new opportunities to further the success of the area and the company.
  • Ensure compliance and assist in the development of guidelines involved with safety, loss prevention, and paperwork procedures.
  • Perform product assembly to acquire and maintain product knowledge.
  • Travel to multiple customer locations to provide supervision and customer service.
  • Other duties and/or tasks may be assigned on an as needed basis.

Job Requirements

Position Requirements

  • 2 years of related management or industry related experience.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • General skills in MS Office.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must provide own tools.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Required availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to provide an acceptable background and driving record.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen.

Essential Job Functions

  • Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to walk for long periods of time and periodically climb up and down stairs.
  • Ability to work exposed to outside temperatures.
  • Frequently bending, kneeling and reaching.
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to assemble small parts and calibrate precise measurements.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and oral.
  • Required overnight travel up to 10% of the time.
