Job Description

General Overview of Position The position of Administrative Specialist is a full-time position requiring 45+ hours per week and reports to the Director of Operations. This position is responsible for providing administrative support for the operations management team and for coordinating all company related travel.   

Position Responsibilities:

  • Create customer focused practices and provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Organize and arrange company events.
  • Complete various reports and updates as required.
  • Create presentations as requested.
  • Maintain a working relationship with various travel related vendors.
  • Seek out and set up corporate travel accounts, investigating and establishing all possible savings
  • Process and document all travel related requests and complete daily reports travel requests.
  • Other duties and/or tasks may be assigned on an as needed basis.

Job Requirements

Position Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office with an emphasis in Excel.
  • Required availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to provide an acceptable background screen.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen.

 Essential Job Functions:

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Frequently bending, kneeling and reaching.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to operate office equipment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and oral.

 Compensation:

  • Salaried/Exempt.
  • Annual performance appraisals.
